Wedding Ceremony
I will arrive at the venue one hour before the bride is due to walk down the aisle to set up the equipment. I will then play for up to 30 minutes in the ceremony room/Church to ‘entertain the guests awaiting the arrival of the Bride’. On the ‘Entrance of the Bride’ I will play a piece of music of the Brides choice, which could be either the traditional Bridal March, a classical piece of music or something more contemporary. The wedding ceremony then takes place. I play 3 or 4 pieces of music for the ‘Signing of the Register’ and while the official photographer and family and friends take photos of the happy couple. The Registrar/vicar/priest will then ask the newly married couple to prepare for their exit. I will play a special piece of music of the married couple’s choice for the ‘Processional Exit’ and carry on playing until all the guests have left the ceremony room/Church.
Drinks Reception
The drinks reception is the period of time between the completion of the wedding ceremony and the start of the ‘Wedding Breakfast’, being the meal that guests are invited to join later in the day. If the wedding has taken place in a church, the married couple will usually remain behind at the church to have photographs taken while family and friends move on to a Hotel or other venue for the wedding breakfast. The guests will be having a few drinks and chatting with family and friends, and you will be having your photographs taken. In order to avoid an ‘anti-climax’ and to entertain family and friends before the meal I play a selection of music for about an hour and a half or so. Weather permitting I can play outside in the garden areas for a champagne reception
Evening Entertainment - Impact Show Spot
This package is negotiable and consists of a powerful and exciting theatre-style 'impact show spot' consisting of 'classical cross-over' rock and contemporary popular music. The set can be performed as one 40-50 minute show or can be split into two circa 20 minute spots if that works better. For an extra £150 I will provide a fully choreographed laser show, this offer is dependent upon if the venue will allow smoke/haze.
Most of my brides like to visit me at wedding fayres when thinking about their music. I can spend as much time with them as they like, playing through anything that they'd like to hear...and if they are completely stuck, I can always offer my help, advice and suggestions.
